Welcome to Soultaker Wands,
About your wand maker, Drago Sal-Eigna. I stumbled across wand making purely by circumstance, I had purchased a modest holding as a place to retire from the hassle of mundane ministerial work. A beautiful little cottage with a small outcropping of pine trees, containing a wondrous thriving colony of bowtruckles, thus, making the pine wood from these trees of the finest wand making material. On the third evening as i stood on the porch supping my warm butterbeer, when through the thick dense pine trees came a delightful herd of thestrals, one stallion four mares and two stunning, bone white foals. As the young foals came into the clearing, they jostled with each other and the tail of one brushed up against the pine tree sending a shower of needles to the ground, for a split second, the setting sun had rebounded off a single bone white strand of thestral tail hair, as it stuck and settled on the thick and scaly bark of the pine tree. It was at this point it struck me this beautiful small holding has provided me with everything I require to make a wand and so I did.
About your wand, Length, for this I decided upon 11¾ inches its solidly average giving a good measure of confidence with space still left to grow. It retains a great level of power whilst maintaining speed and accuracy when casting. For flexibility, I tend to always end up with a rigid wand, thus giving its complete loyalty to an owner with whom has faced great personal tragedy. It is very good with practical magic, however becomes troublesome with frivolous or silly magic. A witch or wizard paired with a rigid wand tend to be cautious, have a little difficulty trusting in others, however most are very kind. Generally, they prefer to be left alone so they can do what they want to do regardless of what anyone else says. The twin silver thestrals upon befriending and feeding give up their tail hairs freely for me. You do not need to have seen death although this helps in seeing thestrals and unlocking the wands potential, you merely need to be accepting of death, as it is a part of the eternal life circle. Some say a thestral hair core can be unstable, however a witch or wizard accepting of death can tame the core. coupled with the bowtruckle cared for pine wood, which prefers an individual master, happy in their own company whilst maintaining an air of mystery, intriguing to others and will no doubt be able to unlock the creativity of the wand wood, learning new methods and spells. The wand is especially sensitive to non-verbal magic. Performing best for witches or wizards destined for long lives, as no known master of a pine wand has ever died young.
In conclusion a witch or wizard paired with a 11¾ inch, rigid, pine wood and thestral tail hair wand, accepting of death will live a long life with a very powerful, fast, accurate, loyal wand versed in practical and non-verbal magic, showing a great confidence between wand and master.
Wand care, A little waxing every few months or after a heavy day’s use, followed by a vigorous buffing will help keep in tip top casting condition. Store your wand securely when not in use. a leg strap, belt loop, the box it came in, or simply the inside pocket of your robes will suffice. Do not store in your back pocket. Do not leave on the floor. Do not play fetch with a family pet, as it is a recipe for disaster. Do not point your wand at anyone or anything in fun especially in the muggle world, or you will answer to the department of misuse of magic at the ministry.
Wishing you a long powerful life,
Drago Sal-Eigna
